Finally, where is the lecture taking place? is it in Ghana or Europe? I would love to be present at the this lecture. Failing that, can the notes be published after the lecture?

Keep the fire burning all the time.

When Ghanaians, including their leaders attribute every problem to spirits, and go to so-called prayer camps to seek answers, how will they do critical thinking?

Sir,
Interesting observation you made. Could it be then that our Spiritual leaders themselves do not understand the Holy Volumes. Because the bible makes reference to Critical Thinking several times. For example both Noah's father and his wife's father's names were both Lamech. But in the Hebrew, spelt just slightly different to each. The slightness in the spellings mean Noah's father's name means "King" and the other Lamech's name means someone degraded. Now, Noah,s father's name, although meaning "king" is actually a combination of 2 separate words for "head" (first) and "heart" (second) - WHAT these all means is that to stand in the position of a King, a ruler, a leader etc, You must always be able to engage your "HEAD" first, before engaging your "HEART" - Critical thinking. But of course, we dont read the Bible to such depths in this country do we? I'll leave it there for now.

Thanks again, Charles.
You have indeed uncovered almost all that is needed for a total transformation of the society for the better.
We need to pay serious attention to these gems worth repeating over and over:
"... Parents need to treat our children differently when they ask "WHY". We need to help them discover real answers and not shut them up every time they ask questions"
"...Students need to question and viciously challenge their lecturers and lecturers need to continually force their brains to be ahead of the game and abreast with global directions..."
"...A nation's competitive advantage no more lies in its natural resources or specialized production units (which we don’t have a lot of anyway), but rather in the brainpower and critical thinking ability of its citizens..."
... In the new system, our teachers need to accept that they are NOT always right and it is OK for their students to be right, and them wrong – that should be their aim. Education should no more be about getting students to memorize "what has been" but getting them to conceptualize "what must become" and be encouraged to make mistakes along the way..."
"...Development is NOT only about building roads; in our era, development should be about cultivating value-added-brains, consciously, purposefully and with every last energy of aggressive intent..."
"...Spiritual leaders must begin to inspire their congregations to know, that our brains are formed in the image of God. Not for resigned feebleness, but for creativity of the highest divine order..."
Two forces that tend to impede the development of the tenets you have marvelously outlined are:
(1) operating in the SURVIVAL MODE, and
(2) misdirected or lack of MOTIVATION.
When everybody is operating in the survival mode, there tends to be no room for creativity and innovative thinking (even though these are great wealth-generators too).
A student about to enter the gates of a university campus would most likely be thinking: "now I'm going to earn a degree to earn a worry-free living" rather than, "I now embark on a journey to use all my talents to create for the betterment of society, and to make a difference in the world".
Not surprisingly, as soon as the semester commences, the freshman would quickly be saddled with how to afford meals, textbooks, transportation, rent, etc.
The second force is MOTIVATION, which determines by and large, what we do on a daily basis. If all that matters is making money, then would there be room for being curious about the universe? Would the teacher care about transforming the minds of students to make them geniuses? Would a politician's heart bleed for the common citizen?
Your write up is indeed loaded with so much food for thought. Many thanks.
