MY FRIEND, IT WILL BE GOOD FOR YOU TO ADMIT THAT GHANAIANS DO NOT WANT AKUFFO ADDO TO BECOME THE PRESIDENT. HE COULDN'T EVEN PASS COMMON ENTRANCE.

Bullcrap by a certificate buyer. You these Akyem people are a big threat to the npp and mother Ghana, as a whole. You people are alwAys quick to jump to the defense of your tribal warlord. If you really understand what Allan has said, you wouldn´t come out with this crap. Unless your arrogant tribal bigot is standing only for the Akyem people. Even with that, not all Akyems voted for him in the last elections. And for this man, full of dubious character, to become president of this country for idiots like you to serve in, will never happen. Until you people come to your retarded minds that, nobody in mother Ghana is yearning for the presidency of your passport thief Akufo Addo, you will continue to make the stupid fools of yourselves all of the time. Bullshits!

This is a rather useless piece by Otchere Darko who has been the bane of the problem confronting the NPP. Alen expresses interest in running in the primaries for the president; as a member of the party he has the right to do. He then makes a case for why there should rethink doing the same things as a party; Hell brakes lose about his comments and all this noise about why Nana Addo is popular and has served his party well, and should not be contested. Why not people like Darko and co allow the contest to come on, so party faithfuls will decide who to vote for?

Is is about time Alan stopped questioning the intelligence of NPP delegates who choose the party’s flagbearer every four years. Mr Alan Kyerematen must learn to work with Nana if and when Nana wins the nest NPP flagbearer’s contest. He has to do this for the good of his party, as well as for his own good. Well said O.D.

The brutal reality that is hidden in plain sight from Ghanaians is what it is we deem to be democracy at its core. While the political race we have adopted as our own has its roots from afar in the end it is the results we have reaped out of the system that matters and not how well others afar like it. Should Alan continue to bag his head against the wall, refuse to accept the damage to his person or learn from damage to others because everyone is doing head banging or should he change course from lesson he has learned from head banging?
My problem with Ghana's NDC and NPP and perhaps with us as voters is that we lack the capacity to learn from past mistakes. NPP has an internal system that stifles smart people like Alan or Nana Akufo-Addo. Alan is compelled to stay in a system built for money brokers to win but for people with wisdom and not riches to lose. If the NPP ideals are vested in Nana but the possibilities of being successful are not in the NPP favor, would it not be moral for Alan to warn the NPP and to change course? Ghana must not be about John Mahama or Nana Akufo Addo and in my hope of hopes, I wished we could elect our members of parliament from the NPP and or NDC but elect a third party candidate as the president or better yet elect third party members to our parliament and chose the president from either the NPP and NDC. In either case scenario, neither the NDC nor NPP can run rough shots over the citizenry.
