Don't call it National Economic Forum, because there is nothing National about this NDC economic forum.
If you still want to use National, please put that in quotation marks. Mahama and his people should not come out with topics to be discussed, the place to hold the conference, the people chosen to lecture on those topics and ask NPP people to come and congregate there and call it a NATIONAL FORUM.
It is obvious, they did not want to listen to anyone as they have said. This is politricks as usual to them?

Lets face it, all these ashawo journalists and media realized after peddling the propaganda and lies of the NDC that the people immediately saw through them and stopped buying their newspapers or listening to their radio stations , so they now offer watered down versions of the truth instead of the cold hard facts . 98% of the people of Ghana have rejected the corrupt moral and perverse ndc govt policies be it so called fight for sodomy and gay right to fake economy discussions . we do not have these pepeni and ayigbe idiots as you have to be worth something or worthy to hate we simply read my lips here totally DESPISE THEM. we despise their corruption , we despise their hatred of the Akan majority , we despise their looting and their daily lies , the list is endless as the rotten through and through. Not so long ago they tell us this is the Action year for the Better Agenda as the continue listen very carefully the murdered mill's agenda . Then they tell us they are only in first gear , now they say with the economic forum not only has the car stopped but they are now shopping around for IDEAS to find petrol to get the car moving again in a direction they don't know ? yes we deeply despise such pepeni ayigbe incompetence and they should know after this period will follow the period of FURY. Just look at the misery and woes they have brought upon our people and still they refuse to LET OUR PEOPLE GO. they are too busy steal the little foreign exchange left that the cedi is plummeting down. they are allies with kuffour and his band of robbers who hijacked the npp for a while and made sure they destroyed the grassroots network of the npp so npp can not truly lead any opposition fight to the end like the Ukrainians did . these foolish ndc don't seem to figure out every time they come up with a way to freely spend the tax papers money we see through their lies and propaganda . so after spending a thousand dollars a day per person at this 4 day national economic forum without consensus what do they have to show for it except more lies , propaganda and wishful fantasy thinking . shame on you kuffuor for giving them support , if you can find it in you to care then advise your partners in crime to resign and go away for good

Like a typical arrogant African with contempt for the uneducated Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe thinks the places for such public airing of our economic problems should be the universities and not those currently selected by the ruling party. What is it about our universities that produce graduates from its hall who are arrogant with functioning intellectual inferiority even as they go through life being as ill prepared relative to counterparts in developed and emerging market nations? Our failed legislators, from history have been and continue to be made up of our so-called educated. In Ghana, the NPP, which you Dr. Kwame is a card carrying member is made up of so- called intellectuals who have failed to prevail on the dummies in the majority, the NDC, to adhere to sound policies which benefit the nation. Ghana's economic failure has two aspects; a failed NDC and a failed NPP lacking the capacity, intellectual and or moral standing, to do things to save the public from failed economic hardships.
Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, the failure is reflective of a failed NPP foundations enacted during the 8-year Kufour era and a failed NDC administration and not of one or the other. The economic forum is to allow all you pompous and intellectually stagnated idiots a chance to get ideas from Ghana's wise lay people even if they do not walk around with meaningless collection of classroom credentials around their necks.

Dr. Okoampah, your articles are ususally full of useful and important points, but I always find it very difficult to read them except at a snail's pace as I try to decipher what you actually mean. You claim to be an English professor in the US of all places. Try to use simple, everyday English words for the benefit of the ordinary readers like me, and stop trying to sound pompous. Your current writing style gives me a headache anytime I read your pieces. Thank you.

Koo Fori, I have my audience; I don't need to waste time "simplifying" everything I write for everybody to understand. You can ask somebody to read and explain those articles authored by me which you find a bit difficult to read, in order for you to fully appreciate them.
The fact of the matter is that I am a scholar and an intellectual, and that is simply how I have learned to cultivate my literary artistry.
Thanks for your feedback and warm regards.

Also Abeeku Mensah has made some very valid points that need serious consideration.Neither party is living up to its potential and the people are suffering for it.
Finally, do please, for peace sake, leave ethnicity out where it doesn't belong!
Thanks.
