what do we need a supplement for when already our markets are flooded with such products that offer no treatment options. as a matter of fact they are no better than ordinary talc. no wonder ur e-mails were spammed.

KK, This is not about whether food supplements work or not. This is about Ghana paying officials who do not do their work. Now, I see why Ghana is in trouble! With mentality like yours, we are doomed!

FDA is NOT the only Non- performing institution now in Mahama's Ghana. E.g: Send your passport to our embassies for visa, and you will most likely miss your flight date. Calls to the embassies are usually not even answered. Yet there are MANY EMBASSY STAFF (usually cronies, relatives and tribesmen) receiving both salaries and allowances.

Ah! Ko Mensah, I feel you! Why do you have to wait a whole yr before complaining loudly? It is a shame what's happening in Ghana. Somebody no doubt wanted a tip before acting, the sods!

Andy, I have tried over the year but it is always the same story - come or call another day. Ghanaians are in trouble because non-performing officials are not are not reprimanded. I will be at FDA officers next week!

Many things can go wrong with emails: it may be sent to spam box (I have experienced this several times); it may not be read, depending on the number of mails the person receives always; it can easily be denied because it is personal, etc.
Not so easy with non-electronic postal mail. It is less personal, and in a proper organization, will be received and registered in a secretary's book, then sent to the receiver. It will be filed for reference after action is taken on it. Even though, some of the flaws of emails mentioned already can also happen with postal mails, it is less vulnerable compared with emails. So next time you might want to opt for postal rather than snail mail with important issues.

Concerned citizen, I wrote about the contact I initiated but not contact by my nephew in Ghana. He has called several times, been to the offices of FDA several times only to be told that renewal is not ready. Remember that it is well into one year since the application was submitted! FDA officials paid by tax payers are not doing their work.
