Massa Kofi, understanding the challenges properly is 50% the solution to solving the issues. In Ghana's case, Jon Mahani's economy is in a turmoil or totally broken down, although Felix Kwakye OFosu, Allotey Jacobs, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, Kofi Wampa, Kwesi Amissah and the rest economic team claim otherwise.
The question is, among Nana Addo and Alan Kay, who has what it takes to right the economical wrongs of H.E. Atopa, and country?
If they have what it takes, why are they not elucidating their ideas or plans for the citizenry to make an informed decision in December, henceforth?
The constitution is super-flawed and we need Right To Information act NOW.
We want ideas to fix our socio-economic challenges and not heavy-duty attacks with hot air on personalities.
Do you remember, "fear delegates and the process more than ghost?"
Who can take on Atopa at the IEA debate better?
Nuffsed.

NPP must elect a real new face because Nana and Alan have polarised the party and overheated it.Any camp winning over the other will not bring the desired unity of purpose. At this point in time,it seems NPP is not interested in power but only interested in Nana and Alan without any intellectual debate.I want NPP to win the 2016 general elections and would like the party to elect a strategic candidate.Big names don't win elections but effective campaign strategy does. The only effective campaign strategy needed to win 2016 elections is to be able to neutralise the NDC winning machine. If you look at the NDC campaign strategy, they always present a candidate from the Central region. This is because they know that the Central is linked to Greater Accra and Western regions,a triangular effect. If you win any of these regions you win the all the 3,a kind of domino effect.Kuffour was able to neutralise NDC machine by trading horses in the Central and the Western regions.Unfortunately,Nana Addo has not been able to resist the fire works of NDC.As for me,I think Joe Ghartey stands a better chance to neutralise the NDC winning machine because he is a real new face and can pull more votes in the Western and Central regions for NPP to win the 2016 general elections. He is the best strategic candidate in NPP today.Thank you.

Sometimes I wonder if the NPP has lost its marbles...how on earth can a political party continue to hinge its hopes and dreams on a man who has consistently failed to bring home the prize? If Akuffo Addo is made the party's presidential candidate yet again and there are ample indications that the party is leaning towards his direction, then God help the NPP...it will lose and lose big in 2016....Alan will be a new face who will ultimately attract the undecided voter, many of whom want a fresh face.

Yes you have voiced out what others fear to voice. It is absurd for Chairman Afoko to be promising victory in 2016 without knowing why his Party lost the two previous elections. He is said to be a successful businessman but his statements so far make me think otherwise. No businessman will invest in a venture without know how healthy it is. Perhaps Chairman Afoko knows why the Party failed to win Power in 2008 and 2012. If he does then let him tell us. The group supporting Alan's candidature are raising issues which are not answered by the Executives of the Party. Let the Party be bold and find out why it lost two elections in a row as stated in the above article. Chairman Afoko, you will not be able to win the next election if you know where the Party went wrong. If you fail the Party, they will not take it kindly on. Goodluck.
