Hopefully the Woyome case will drag on until Akuffo Addo comes to power. The 'short man' will find a way to jail this crook for a long, long time.

DID MR. WOYOME REALLY BRING IN THE ALMOST 2.0 BILLION EUROS TO DO ANY CONCRETE WORK IN GHANA? IF HE DID BRING REAL CASH OR CHEQUE TO GHANA THEN HE MUST BE REIMBURSED, OTHERWISE HE DOES NOT DESERVE PAYMENT.

Why did Woyome not claim between 2005-2009? That’s very significant.

Woyome is a confused man. What he considers a 'contract' is just an advert, pre-contract negotiations or an 'invitation to treat'.
My 18 year old daughter can school him on the conditions for a contract. He had no contract with anyone at least not with the government. The State cannot lose this one.
And oh yes!! point no 18 in the above article is very important: why did he not take any action between 2005 - 2009. Legally he may have 6 years to take action, but the delay makes me smell a rat.
He is crook and he must return the monies paid to him. Period.

Mr. Yawose, like too many other Ghanaians, lacking understanding but with access to the internet can write articles to feed the zealots and haters without much insight or reflection. Mr. Woyome's crime is that he is a Ghanaian dealing with his government that has been driven by tribalism, party politics and no wisdom or principled collection of people. Just because tbe SC of Ghana ruled there was no contract between Woyome and the government of Ghana does not invalidate all other provisional contracts. Let me give you Mr. Yawose and others rudimentary lesson in oral contracts and binding contract that is derived from open or closed bid procurement process. Once there has been a legally advertised bid process and a closing date for such a bid unless and until all interested parties have been notified in writing prior to and or at the time bids are opened of a termination of the process a binding contract is initiated once a conditional award has been provided to the winning bid which in this case was Woyome. Remember that but for the incompetence, mismanagement, cronyism and tribal preferences that reduced Ghana to a beggar nation status care off ex-president Kufour, Ghana's government would have been obligated to provide funding or finance of the stadia renovation project. The question you and other little minded Ghanaians should ask is how did Woyome get a letter of introduction to the Austrian bank from a Kufour administration staff for a project he, Woyome, did not participate or was not party to? The SC ruling is a technical ruling that affirmed Ghana's constitutional article relative to a valid contract between government and an entity with foreign partners or interest which shall be approved by parliament to make it binding. The SC did not render an opinion on the process of government which granted a provisional offer to Woyome. If and only if Ghanaians with love for Ghana will stand up and be counted on fairness we will all know that Kufour and his men became a danger to the nation and by ignoring a process and practices of government committed potentially treasonous act. Every last one of our judgment debts rose out of vindictive, uncultured and uncouth government administrations.

Abeeku, there is no need educating somebody who is a fool and does not want to learn. But those who are condemning Woyome should first go find out how the NPP govt, in spite of declaring themselves HIPC were able to build three hospitals, one at Gushegu, the other at Begoro and the third at Sogakofe. It s this same Woyome who through the same financial engineering which they endorsd who brought the money through the same method which they accessed and put up the hospital which today is serving the good people of Ghana. Ghanaians are simply hypocrites, mean and vicious. Above all, many are fools like John Yawson who wrote this article and some of the people who have attacked him on this platform

''The question you and other little minded Ghanaians should ask is how did Woyome get a letter of introduction to the Austrian bank from a Kufour administration staff---?''
Answer: Woyome was fronting for Vamed which put in a bid. Woyome never put in a bid. Vamed/Woyome requested for a comfort letter (As in the write-up)of Intro to Exxim Bank to facilitate business which when completed was for the consideration. That was no contract. Abbeku this is an info for you. Generally the point highlighted is that the Vamed contract was never completed and Woyome wanted to take advantage using political connections after Kufuor.
Hopefully the Woyome case will drag on until Akuffo Addo comes to power. The 'short man' will find a way to jail this crook for a long, long time.
