Well? The majority wants him out; he is pompous and lazy. He thinks he is some god. We want him fired, period. You watched him talk didn’t you? He doesn’t care two hoots if we had a good team or not. He is rich, and that’s all he cares about, like your normal Ghanaian. Fire him.
“To be fair, the GFA President probably has a right to feel entitled to continuous public praise because he HAS achieved a lot for Ghana.”
Who has “achieved” what lot for Ghana? Are you talking about Nyantakyi? People in positions of trust are required to achieve, so they deserve no praise because they get paid. When they failed to deliver, and go about displaying arrogance instead of introspection, they should be fired.

Nyantakyi's level of arrogance can be match up to that of a porn star. If this guy has any morals, he should have resigned the very day the Telegraph implicated him the match fixing scandal. He should have realized from that very moment all the players will loose respect for him and his presence at the camp will affect the players. Whether we likes it or yes, any European country will not allow Nyantakyi and his gang criminals close to the team. This is how they achieve success. He stayed behind and created problems for the team. With his relationship with Appiah. The truth will come out soon.

Well said my friend but the match-fixing scandal video tells you all you need to know about what the GFA thinks about Ghana and it's people. With the support of corrupt FIFA, they know the government can't do 'kowtoo'. Personally, I think the GFA members should all be fired and new members brought in or if the old members think they can do the job better, reapply and set up conditions for delivering better performance for the team within a period of time. If that period reaches, and it need to be a short period, and the results are not achieved, the said personnel resigns willingly or be fired by the new by-laws to be set up. Deliver or leave/be fired

What the arrogant Nyantakyi has said is just too bad for team building. He doesn’t have Ghana at heart. Kwarasey is a fine keeper. Before the world cup and in the match against USA he was the best goalkeeper. Meanwhile, he was born and has lived in Europe all his life and has seen excellent goalkeeping methods. He has every right to complain if the National goalkeeper's coach is under performing. He has virtually been kicked out as Black Stars keeper. That is sad. Only those with incorrect eyes can say Dauda is currently better than Kwarasey. I think the government should follow the Nigeria government's action by disbanding the FA. If Fifa interferes, they should tell Fifa to use their own money to run the GFA as Nigeria has just done. They cannot suspend Ghana for more than two years. Damn Fifa and go the Nigeria's way. Fifa needs Ghana, and not the other way round. The whole Fifa system is a mafia game. The whole Ghana is in support if the government takes that drastic action. If you have an opportunity to do something, do it before the opportunity expires. Make hay while the sun shines. Ghana can use that period to restructure the national team and the national league Nyantakyi has virtually collapsed. I am not a fan of President Mahama, but if it is true that the Black Stars players snubbed the President as Afriyie Ankra said, then the national team needs a restructuring. Nyantakyi says the only way he can be removed from office is to go to congress. That is a falsehood. Disband the FA and he is finished. Ghana is ready to be suspended for two years. It will serve as a lesson to the new boss.

Extraordinary Congress Dissolves NFF's Board
Written by Ezeocha Nzeh, Abuja - Sunday, July 6, 2014
THE Extraordinary Congress of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) rose from its meeting Saturday, dissolving the Aminu Maigari-led Executive Board.
The meeting, which held at Bolingo Hotel, Abuja, accused the Maigari administration of secrecy in the finances of the federation, as well as manipulation of the NFF Statues to suit its interest.
Following the dissolution, the congress also reconstituted the NFF Electoral Committee and the NFF Appeals Committee to prepare ground for election into the NFF Executive Board.
Delegates attended the Extraordinary Congress, which summoned the chairman of chairmen of Nigeria Football Associations, Effiong Johnson, to discuss recent developments in Nigerian football, from the football aπssociations of the 36 States of the federation and the FCT.
Reading the decisions, the chairman of the communiqué drafting committee, Obinna Ogba, said: "The Extraordinary Congress unanimously endorsed the dissolution of the Aminu Maigari-led NFF Executive Committee, and immediate termination of the employment of all management staff.
"The congress also endorsed the dissolution of the boards of the Nigeria National League, Nigeria Women League and the Nigeria Nationwide Leaguec
"The vice Chairmen are to take over the running of the Leagues and report to the Acting General Secretary of NFF.
"Congress approved the appointment of Lawrence Katken as Acting Secretary General of the NFF, pending the appointment of a substantive General Secretary.
"Congress bemoaned the international embarrassment caused the country at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, by failure of the Aminu Maigari-led NFF to fully and firmly resolve issues of finance with the Super Eagles ahead of the tournament.
"Congress accused the Maigari administration of abuse of NFF Statues in its constitution of the NFF Electoral Committee, by altering the list of persons approved by the congress at the 2013 General Assembly."
New eight-man NFF Electoral Committee and six-man NFF Appeals Committee have been reconstituted to prepare for election into the Executive Board.
It is recalled that a High Court sitting in Jos, Plateau State, had on Wednesday, granted an interlocutory Injunction in a case filed by Mrs Baribote, restraining the NFF President, Aminu Maigari and the Executive Committee from managing, directing and conducting the affairs of Nigerian football pending the determination of the Motion on Notice.
Consequent upon that mandate of the presiding Judge, Justice P.L. Lot, the Minister of Sports, Tammy Danagogo, on Thursday appointed Lawrence Katken, as Acting General Secretary of the NFF. His appointment has now been ratified by the Extraordinary Congress.

The cause of Ghana exit from the world cup was our defense and our coach is supposed to be a very good defender in his playing days, I don't believe that.
Secondly, there is a pattern with Akwesi Appiah. According to sources the team is now divided again. Again???? The last time the team was divided, it was because of him moaning because the captain armband was taken from him and the team became divided for over 10 years. Fire him or the team will go another 10 years divided. He gets a positions that's better than that captain armband and his divisive mind started working like nobody business.

Black Star is heading to the declining state now unless something drastic is done. I support self-reliance and gave coach Appiah any benefit of doubt. But his handling of things on the team has revealed that he did actually LACKS SOME COACHING COURSES again before he can function as a real coach. A coach who can be INFLUENCED by his players to change a goalie at last minute before a crucial game shows the man got no clue of what he was doing and stand for.
As a Ghanaian and Black Star die-hard fun, are we going to sit down and let Black Star disintegrate under the leadership of Akwasi Appiah?
Even if Nyantakyi can dodge under the Fifa wings, Akwasi Appiah MUST GO.

WE should ask ourselves how many slots does Africa have to the world cup now. Ghana qualifying for the world cups and the running of the GFA has nothing in common. African slots were increased to five and the big teams were separated thereby creating a chance for Ghana to qualify. So stop giving the idiot credit he doesn't deserve. Until France 1998, we, Africa, had 2 slots and France made it three and after 5 thereby making it easier for many of the football powers in Africa to qualify

Why was James Kwesi Appiah given a new contract prior to the start of Brazil 2014? Shouldn't the GFA wait to see the performance of the team and its chemistry to reward Mr. Appiah with a contract? Were players forced on Appiah who in turn said he couldn't take them because Ghanaians will ask for his head if he fails, and GFA personnel, as per the match-fixing video brushed it off as Ghanaians complaining for few days and forgetting everything after that. Did the GFA give Appiah the new contract to say "we got this Akwasi, we'll deal with the angry Ghanaians after the failure at Brazil?"
The match-fixing scandal confirmed what I thought was going on all along. Beside beating Nigeria, Ghana had lost all it's friendlies after the world cup just because the GFA chose to use the team as their gold mine by arranging to lose matches and get paid in the process.

This is a beautiful article. Sometimes we need to stand up for our rights damn the consequences. FIFA and CAF are rogue organizations managed by heavy-duty Mafioso. They made rules to safeguard themselves from prosecution resulting from glaring corrupt practices; so let’s play by their rules. We sack the whole Federation, we get suspended from international football and we use the period to organize our house. When we are ready after 1 or 2 years, we let the bell ring, request FIFA and CAF to assist us in our elections, we get serious and honest executives and we start all over again, what’s wrong with it? Why do you guys think we should rush when we can’t even watch a descent match at Accra or Kumasi, WE WON'T BENEFIT FROM ANY RUSH. NOTHING TO GAIN Let's do it our own way!!!!!!!
