Personally I used to be Alan's fun until recent times when had no chance but to switch camp , after haven studied the political terrain and came to the conclusion that Nana Addo stand tall to become the next president than any single individual contestant across the political divide. My recent personal survey in some Zongo communities attest to this fact, and not even Afari-Gyan, Atuguba and the Asiedu Nketia's NDC Boko Harams can stop this from happening. Alan is a spent force and my tingling senses tells me that Nana is not the problem of GAKE but Bawumiah whose continual presence in the NPP would forever shutter the dream of Alan coming close to become a flag bearer. Apart from the age factor,likewise the "weed" smoking tag, which would not be an issue in the next general election, Nana has more clout and what it takes to lead Ghana to the promise land than the much confused clown we have in Mahama as the a first joker in the NDC concert party.

If Pres Kufuor won on 52.45% but with 6 regions, and Nana Akufo-Addo had 49.32% by just 2 regions, then Nana has proven that he's a potential winner by a huge margin.
Asking Nana to step aside in order for Kyeremateng to "win" at the primaries tells every wise person that you've no confident in Alan Kyeremateng's wining chance. If Mr Kyeremateng has the "charisma" "physique", "competence" and "experience" to win, as you put it, then don't ask Nana Akufo-Addo (who presumably "doesn't have" all that charateristics you metioned), to step aside in order for Kyeremateng to receive favour at the primaries.
Nobody is stepping down for any weaker candidate to have a "chance", because doing so compromises not only the party's constitution, but quality, leadership, trust and the principle of democracy.
Just like NOBODY has a right to ask Keremateng to shelve his political ambition, so it's not within anybody's right to ask Nana Akufo-Addo to sit aside for Alan Kyeremateng!!

One thing I like about Nana Addo is that in the midst of all these insults, he has always called his people not to respond in like manner. This is maturity. His main target is how to bring improvement upon Ghana by ousting the NDC from power. His target has never been Allan.
