Yes the The cedi continues to drop drastically. Some of the measures are not favorable, and as to that effect, you the importer and exporters have, has the Right to show, demonstrate and share your views and mandate to the government and people of Ghana.
How can a government, be able to hold, stabilized the currency as to the dollars fo a whole 8yrs., and the current government can not? this shows how incompitent the current government is. Where did the current Minister of Economic affirs went to school? dose he think he is doing the Right thing for the nation, and the President elected to supervise all things is also sitting down uncorncern and approving his crazy proposals? Oh no this government had to go. Let all the nation demonstrate every now and than to say goodbye to the current NDC gornment to step down and come back next time as soon as possible.
Good luck Ghana its about time to fight for a good time. Note next time when you go to vote, vote wisely better Luck next time.

Are we witnessing a CIA sponsored, organised co-ordinated action against the Mahama regime which has most probably incurred the displeasure of the US government by not playing ball? Two factors are dictating the behaviour of USA Foreign policy in Ghana and other African countries.Firstly the rapid rise of the influence of China in Africa and the steady decline of American influence globally. The USA is determined to reverse this trend, the history of various empires shows that such declines are inevitable. At best far sighted USA Foreign policy makers could in theory manage such a decline in an orderly fashion in order to avoid worldwide cataclysmic upheaval. USA intelligence organizations such as the CIA are defaulting to the methods they are best familiar with which is to orchestrate the removal of regimes that refuse or are unwilling to cooperate. This invariably involves taking into account the perceived weakness of the target regime (in our case widespread corruption and mismanagement) amplifying this via the media, organised public protests and also harnessing and aiding any existing opposition forces. As always the hand of such foreign manipulation is cleverly conceived through the use of funded NGOs, Labour organizations, Professional organizations/associations and even media outlets on the payroll of the foreign power. Where the target regime is solidly entrenched in a one party state configuration with a weak opposition then direct military intervention is an option using trumped up excuses: we saw this in the case of Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi.A violent political confrontation is likely to be the methods resorted to in Ghana with coordinated civil disorder and mass protests. The current opposition cannot be guaranteed to be able to unseat an even corruption tainted NDC government. If the Mahama led administration reacts by cracking down on dissent then this will be used as part of the propaganda against it.While I am no admirer of the current inept NDC administration I believe that rapid far reaching reforms by the government to root out corruption may be able to take the wind out of the sails of these malevolent foreign interests and allow Ghana to continue in a peaceful trajectory with possible future multiparty politics possible. Any foreign induced intervention will lead to long-term chaos with inevitable severe economic decline.MANY OF OUR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN HAVE NO IDEA THAT THEY ARE BEING CLEVERLY CONTROLLED BY POWERFUL FOREIGN INTERESTS.USA foreign interventions have never served the interests of the USA in the long run and almost always leave the host countries in total chaos and turmoil.

The part about the USA and its malevolent objectives is 1000% correct except for the fact that demos are already in the making and it seems to have taken a trend. However, maybe, just maybe, USA or Foreign silent voices are spurring the protests on. Your suggestion to the resolution of the crisis is appropriate and I pray that same is implemented. Kudos
