At the time of writing this article on Wednesday night, I assumed that the subject matter was referred to the Constitutional Committee for advice and clarification. If I had been aware that the matter was not referred to the committee, I would not have suggested that Kwabena Agyapong should resign and the title would have been different. My apology to Kwabena Agyapong.

NOBODY IS FOLLOWING THE RULES IN NPP. YOU LISTEN TO THE NORTHERN REGION CHAIRMAN. LOOK AT THOSE WHO WENT TO THE PARTY HEADQUARTERS . THEY ARE ALL AKUFFO ADDO SUPPORTERS. HAVE YOU HEAR HIM CONDEMMED SUCH BEHAVIOUR BECAUSE TO HIM EVERYTHING IS "ALL DIE BE DIE". EVERYTHING SHOULD BE ABOUT HIM

I agree with you thet Kwabena Agyepong's actions have rendered him a lame duck already. It appears he over estimated the importance of that office and behaved badly. It is now clear that Akuffo Addo is going to run his campaign from his own office without much input from the party head quarters. Nana has an effective ground game and will not need Afoko and Agyepong to succeed. It is a shame.

It is obvious to all that right from the word go Akufo and his cabal who controlled the former executive were unhappy with the present executive and therefore have been trying to sabotage them and even unseat them by putting Akufo's men there.
The change of the former chairman of that committee Ayikoi Otoo for Oquaye was part of that design.Stupidly Oquaye, Akufo's puppet was hasty with his plans and had exposed himself as a result. The problem is not the present executive the problem is Akufo and his cabal. Those who were asked to proceed on leave are Akufo's men who are there to manipulate and hide their past misdeeds.

Did he as the GS find out how the constitutional findings was leaked before issuing his statement, asking readers to treat it with the contempt it deserved? How can a GS make very serious allegations against an official on air, without first affording the accused the chance to respond? Since when has been aware of the findings? Has his supporters read the full text of the said ''unsolicited'' findings? Until he learns to be accommodating of all shades of opinion in the party, the perception will remain and characterise his administration as serving and feeding into the agenda 2020. Why does he not take his uncompromising style to counter the inimical policies of the NDC? The key phrase is: majority will carry the day so the earlier he learnt to be a team player the better his administration will avoid some of the basic admin errors he has made thus far.
Subdue the 'over bloated ego' otherwise it will be lanced on your own sword with the unpleasant puss over you face and you will be left to clean the mess alone. Show that you are a professional yourself before embarking on your mission to professionalise the NPP administration within the shortest possible time.

What the constitutional committee did is unconstitutional and needs not to be regarded. Kwabena, Keep on doing your job with firmness and seriousness.

MASSA KOFI, of course, Kwabena Agyapong has not been doing things brilliantly and professionally at the party's HQ as NPP's General Secretary. However, what is going on now at the NPP HQ is a symptom of a much bigger picture of power play, and part of the battle for the domination of the NPP by the Asante-Akyem cliques. The fact that he's driven out people considered Nana Akufo-Addo's loyalists would obviously make him widely and deeply unpopular with large supporters of Nana Akufo-Addo. Kwabena Agyapong, as someone with the future leadership of NPP on his mind, such actions and antics at the party's HQ, I can imagine, could make him 'unelectable'.
On the contrary, Kwabena Agyapong was elected as the party's General Secretary. His major role and responsibility is to manage the organisational structure of the party, and turn the NPP into an election winning machine. This means he has to overhaul the party's structure, and bring in competent personnel to work with him. On this basis of this point, isn't Kwabena being vilified unfairly if indeed he is acting out of concern for the party rather than just for Nana Akufo-Addo's presidential ambition?
