The reason is because, one of your MP's was nabbed and jailed.
It's a disgraceful record nobody can challenge NPP. Just that NPP members have sold everything called shame to the dogs.

Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with the President's decision to dissolve the NACOB Board. He appointed them, and found out that they weren't doing their work as he'd expected and he fired them. In fact, I blame him for not going far enough to fire the CEO as well. He shouldn't even stop there, he should go on to demand the prosecution and dismissal of all the officers at the VIP lounge, the airport security officers and the foreign affairs officers that facilitated export of the drugs.
On the other hand, I don't agree with Mr. Mahama for sending BNI to intimidate and harass journalists who reported on the Nayele Ametefeh cocaine scandal. The government should've sued them in an open court for defamation as any aggrieved person or entity would've done in a democratic system, if it felt that false information had been published against it. This is because Ghanaians don't want NDC to return to its dictatorial and intimidation tactics of the P/NDC era and gag press freedom again.

When the lady at the center of this drug case was arrested, we were told that she was carrying an Austria passport. Now, carrying Austria passport to enter into Europe means, she was an Austrian. That is what commonsense says so, the question is why did NDC officials go to the length of trying to see Ametefe?
We heard from the Foreign Minister, the High Commissioner in UK about the lady and that something I do not understand. A Ghanaian was arrested in Iran with drug and the penalty in that country is instant death by hanging. No Ghanaian official went to his aid despite the fact that we have a close and amicable relationship with Iran.
Some will equate Amoateng's case to Ametefe but the differences is Amoateng is a Ghanaian and an MP while Ametefe is an Austrian by naturalization. What some Ghanaians do not understand is the speed at which NDC officials try to shield or cover the lady is beyond explanation and that forced some of us to suspect the government of people close to the government as behind the lady.
Also, if the lady wasn't carrying a diplomatic passport, who or what power was behind her for using the VVIP lounge? This is a lingering question that only God can answer and we are yet to hear who was that person who authorized her passage through the VVIP lounge, a place reserved for the president and some powerful people not drug couriers.

The Ghanaian consulate had every to meet with her to determine if she was carry a diplomatic passport as it was reported by the NPP mischieve makers and the rest of the yellow journalists in Ghana. I take it you are one of the NPP hacks and it is why despite the information available you continue to write such nonsense and stupid posts. You and your guys are desperate to hang this on the current government and will play stupid when the facts don't fit your expectations. You and your lot are either fucking stupid or extremely retarded. Was the guy in Iran purported to be carrying diplomatic passport?

My Ghana, what is wrong with some of you? I think the answer is just ignorance, too known, and stupidity. Yes, this woman was carrying two Passports, one as a Ghanaian, and two as an Austrian. It is the right of the woman to choose the country she needs help from, and that is the "Master citizenship" in Law. another view is the Austrian do not accept a "Dual citizenship", so Austrian could choose not to accept her in such a disgraceful act, so they opted, after all she was in her born country before traveling. So tell the readers, how you could solve this problem, if you were to be an Austrian Authority or A Ghanaian Authority?
It seems you have refused to inform you readers that, the British Govt. has made it clear that, the Woman per say is not holding a Diplomatic Passport, why do you still complicating issues?

In Ghana, unless an issue is politicised and hyped and beaten down several times, it would not cease. Take the serial killings of women in 2000. It has to be politicised for it to stop, infact for NDC to lose elections and realise how precious the human lives are. Then the cocaine cases had to be politicised in 2012 for NPP to lose elections and also realise how setrious Ghanaians are taking the drug issue. If the NDC have not learnt their lesson and indulge in the very evil practice upon which NPP was voted out, then so be it. The NPP if they have the evidence should drum on it until elections. This is the only effective albeit "painful" way of stopping the drug trade, by chasing away a condoning party in Govt. My only beef with Rockson Addofo and some NPP members is that when then President Mills subjected himself for body search they said it was a token measure. Today Addofo is calling it a sterling example. You see let us give praise where praise is due. For the current saga, whoever is hiding behind and exploiting his relationship with the president to facilitate cocaine trafficking must be smoked out and shamed. Ghana cannot be sacrificed for the selfish greed a few.
