Tony Pobee-Mensah/Edd,
As Edd said, "you have a point", that maybe a joint project, if properly conceptualized will work.
The only problem is the choice of "partners". You know, Nigeria was one of those countries that strongly resisted the proposals for African Continental Unity. Nigeria adopted a federal form of government and soon descended into a brutal civil war. Lately, Nigeria has allowed an entire "State" in the north to generate into chaos - even more brutal mayhem, as the government sits and watches, unable even to assume control of towns newly liberated by outsiders, (Chad, Cameroun).
In fact, we believe countries affected by that mayhem have a good international case against Nigeria, for gross failure to control their affairs, and as a result, externalizing brutality across their Nigerian borders.
So, Nigeria, we are sorry to say, will not now, or soon, qualify as a partner in that sort of venture. That sort of venture will not be just about making money for "shareholders".
It will be an Nkrumah-sized Visionary project, as you even holler for Nkrumah, with a path to that continental unity.
Therefore, great credit goes to Tony Pobee-Mensah, for thinking outside the box, as they say!
