Stick to the issues and stop extending it to cover those that has nothing to do with it. One is a Pastor because he lacks the qualification or contact to become the mayor. The other is a pusher but has not asked to be appointed the mayor. What is your beef with them?
Indicting ones whole family for an act committed by another is not educative it is at best myopic!

I have been calling for the demolishing of illegal strictures constructed on waters ways since the killer flood killed more than 200 people in Accra. I have even called for the exercise to be extended to all the regional capitals, cities and towns where such structures exist. In fact, I feel the exercise should be broadened to include securing our pavements or walkways from traders who extend their verandas and structures to cover the walkways or pavements, forcing pedestrians to walk on our streets and endanger their lives. Furthermore, the scenes depict how uncivilized we are as a nation. Above all, Containers and kiosks placed on these walkways or pavements should be taken away or demolish on sight.
Sadly, the officers who facilitate these illegal actions in our society, either directly through bribes or indirectly through negligence of duty, are now lying low for the dust to settle so that they could continue lining their pockets at the expense of this nation and its people. It looks like our laws are always applied on the week and vulnerable leaving the real culprits whose actions lead to such catastrophes. They must also be sought and dragged to court and imprisoned if guilty for proper lessons to be learned. We can't keep criminals and nation wreckers masquerading as civil servants in our society.

How did Kigali in Rwanda become the cleanest city in Africa and one of the cleanest in the world? Kojo Bonsu, Oko Vanderpuije and other mayors of Ghana's cities, must find out and copy or adopt the measures and systems used my the mayor of Kigali and his officials. The measures suggested in this article by Dr Okoampa-Ahoofe are so sensible that it is amazing that our mayors don't use them. If you provide the resources (garbage bins, recycle points, rubbish-collection facilities, etc, plus proper education to the masses on how to use these facilities) and back all this up with severe punishment methods for non-compliance with the established sanitation laws, then you'll quickly see a much cleaner environment. This should be as clear to Kojo Bonsu and Oko Vanderpuije as the noses on their faces!

...they can be trained. If you provide necessary and adequate facilities for waste disposal (garbage bins, etc), and let the public know that individuals who break any of the known sanitation laws will be punished (through cash fines, imprisonment, etc) people WILL comply....if they realise that you are serious. Initially, they'll think you are joking, but when people notice that they WILL be made to pay a fine (or even go to prison )for flouting sanitation laws, they WILL soon comply with the sanitation laws.
