In any civilized democratic country, the Minister of Interior or the police Chief would have already left office by now because they failed Ghanaians miserably. Immediately after the violence, NDC officials started to propagate that it was a mob fight between NDC and NPP supporters, and the Interior Minister shamefully joined in and said that "violence begets violence". He forgot that it was his duty through the security forces to investigate the matter thoroughly and tell Ghanaians who did what since arms and thumb-printed ballot papers were confiscated from some people.
These specific crimes or exhibits could have led us to the real criminals behind the shootings and stuffing of ballot boxes. But our unprofessional police preferred to toe the line of those in power by claiming that they were going to prosecute ghosts rather than follow the available leads. In the recent suicide bombing that took place at a mosque in Kuwait, the security officers identified and arrested the owner of the car that took the suicide bomber to the mosque and followed it up with the arrest of the driver. From there, the investigations led to the masterminds and accomplishes of the heinous crime.
Why didn't our security forces investigate the leads or exhibits that could have lead us to the bigger picture, rather than glossed over them as if they confiscated the AK-47s, cutlasses and thumb-printed ballot papers from the air? Our security forces, like the government including Mr. Woyongo, are trying to generalize the issue and incriminate others in order to bury the truth between Azorka boys and Bolga Bull Boys, blindfold Ghanaians and cover the government's own tracks. Ghanaians deserve better.

Would an offspring with an ounce of wisdom rely on the descendant of rapists and or murderers to provide a so-called true story of the time because of some research? Ghanaians who have chosen to keep the UP/UGCC/matemeho fight with the CPP going shamelessly and without reflection choose to rely on ramblings by people with self interest in their stories to tell Ghanaians about our history because we know no better; monkeys could do better for they run at the very sighting of men who mistreat them.
Was Dennis Austin alive and living in Ghana during colonial rule? Why did Dennis Austin have access to British and other historical notes written without bias if I am to believe in his historical accounts when the British could not allow unfettered access to others? Are those writings not contemporaneous? Dennis Austin has not found in depth and in totality historical notes on the atrocities committed by the colonial masters in Ghana and yet have presumed access to what dimwits engaged in history rewrites do fancy. Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe chooses not to use half of the brains he used in classrooms during his schooling but uses what he has and some more to defend his indefensible heroes while those of the Nkrumah ideology seem to have time on their hand to debate the silliness that drives the Nkrumah-Danquah debate. Why did Nkrumah not start arresting and cast into detention all of the UP/UGCC/matemeho leadership if absolute power is what he needed and or if he was afraid of the opposition?
The irony should not be lost on those here at home in Ghana and in the Diaspora who rail against Nkrumah's Detention Act but seemingly neutered to rail against civilized, industrialized and best democratic nations of the world who have employed similar measures in the face of enemies from the Muslin world to keep people safe. Why is it brilliant of the security money can buy in those nations but act of suppression when Nkrumah chose to detain bandits and classroom educated but ignorant Ghanaians of the time who saw themselves as God’s chosen tribe to rule Ghana and anyone else should face death? If Dennis Austin holds the historical truths on Ghana then I surely know there shall never be hope for Ghana; I know of no one, Caucasian or otherwise who would know more about the suffering in Ghana than those who lived it. There are no pieces of Ghana's so-called history that has been collaborated by living Ghanaians at the time because it is easier to keep the masses dumb except for a few house negroes who would do the slave master's dirty job in the hopes of reigning over Ghanaians some day; ha-ha it did not work.
