Why must someone from afar save Ghanaians and Ghanaian organizations from our inability to manage our affairs? Turkey's leader, Tayyip Erdogan, is bombing away people who disagree with his dictatorial ways and yet because he gave some nickels to Ghana you wish all of Ghana to be grateful and to sing his praises, Mr. Abdulai? Oh how sad.

There's nothing more elevating the self-hood than lacing your own boots and lifting yourself by your own bootstraps. There's a cardinal principle in international relations that call for "no permanent friends", only "permanent interests". The question then is, what is Turkey's permanent interest in all this generosity: a military base in Ghana to fight Boko Haram; a successful proselytizing that maximizes conversion of "infidels" into "faithfuls", etc.
The ancient Trojans having learnt their lesson, exclaimed, " Beware of the Greeks, even if they bear you gifts." My father also rose from his grave this morning to reinforce what he'd told me many, many times while growing up: "You become a slave to whoever appears to do you favours."
General Kutu Akyeampong for all his faults, was right in calling on Ghanaians to become self-reliant.

Turkey sat and looked on, as ISIL gained strength, looted banks, murdered 1,000s they claimed are "infidels", and destroyed cultural artifacts, etc.
Apparently, Endorgan, or whatever his name is, wants to lay the grounds for sweet victory in the election he himself will call in due course.
So, we take a Mosque and then follow who ever's "permanent interest" is the order of the day!
Yes, diplomatic recognition and support is worth a lot to countries! In that sense, Endorgan's Turkey thinks they've has found a rather cheap way....
So, come back and try again, Alhaji Alhasan Abdulai! See all of that for CRASS "...generosity and fellow feeling...".
Greetings to all!

Is it not a shame for mentioning Turkey been generous to us? It is completely a shame.
Ghana and Ghanaians should bald down in shame for being poor people. It's not news
but a shame.

I've never heard that Ghana gives money to our African fellows, not only Ghana but all African countries ar greedy bastards like Rawlings put it. Africans don't help each other. Look at Chad, Mali, Burundi which are poorer, no African country is lending or giving them anything. Oh African! Greedy and greedy no feel for anybody except begging.
No African country helps its fellow African country, including Ghana. Who heard that before an African country doles out money to another African country? Greedy, shame and thick eyes as Chinese will say.

Yes, the Great Kwame Nkrumah doled out Ghana's money in the 1960's to help Guinea when the French looters deserted abruptly because Sekou Toure will not kiss their rear end.
