  By the way, The population of Tamale is way above 500,000. Do your findings very well.
  And you call yourself a development Practitioner! Really...??! You people are part of the North's under development. You are always quick to point to the negatives in the region. There are a lot more positives in the City of Tamale than negatives that pessimist like you wish to focus on.
  The City of Tamale is an emerging African city positioning itself to gradually become a World Class City. Is it any doubt Tamale is the fastest developing city in West Africa ahead even Lagos. No! Tamale is today, Ghana's third largest city and is synonymous with the popular cliche on the new Africa; "Africa Rising". The City of Tamale is a city on the rise!

  I wish to commend you for this bold and brilliant article on indiscipline in Tamale. I wrote a similar piece in the month of Ramadan. In my article,i charged the Northern Regional Minister to sponsor a Conference of all stakeholders to discuss and develop strategies to fight indiscipline in Dagbon and more particularly in Tamale. We are expecting a response from the Regional Minister.
