In your dreams!! Your friend Kwabena Agyepon is so full of himself, and considers himself as too wise to bow out. Rather, he's determined to hang on to his position and create more havoc for the party. He and Afoko were ill-advised. They came on board thinking everybody should do their bidding. Anyway, I hope he reads this article. Good advice.

Kwabena Agyepong was also elected; was he not? He is actually supposed to be run the day-to-day affairs of the party, and not just work with the flagbearer. In fact, when the latter loses the election, he will continue to hold the party together. Clearly this article is flawed and underscores why there is so much trouble within the NPP. It is an indictment on the presidential candidate who cannot simply keep his party together. Ghanaians need to take note of this

An Ewe, yes I am. A JJR-die-hard, yes I am.
But I have a question for you, please.
Both Nana Addo and Kwabena A are elected Officers of the New Patriotic Party. They were elected at the Party's Congress, I think so.
So what makes you suggest that Kwabena Agyepong, who was duly nominated, who campaigned, who crashed in an accident just before the NPP Congress, but who was elected by the 10,000+ or so delegates, you think it is rather Kwabena Agyepong who should RESIGN?
Do you please think about all the voters (NPP DELEGATES) who voted for Kwabena Agyepong?
Where are we going in politics?
Long live GHANA.

KWABENA AGYEPONG, JUST WALK AWAY AND SAVE YOUR POLITICAL FUTURE. THE NPP IS BIGGER THAN ANY ONE INDIVIDUAL. HOWEVER, NOBLE YOUR INTENTIONS ARE REGARDING THE AGENDA YOU HAVE, AS GENERAL SECRETARY, THE GREATER MASS AND MAJORITY OF THE NPP MEMBERSHIP DO NOT WANT THE WAY YOU ARE HEADING, SO YOU HAVE BECOME A MINORITY AND IN A DEMOCRATIC PARTY, THE MAJORITY ALWAYS HOLDS SWAY AND CARRIES THE DAY. YOU CANNOT FIGHT AGAINST THE LARGER INTERESTS OF THE MAJORITY OF THE NPP. IF YOU FORCE IT AND TRY TO DO WHAT YOU ARE BENT ON DOING, HOWEVER HONEST AND NOBLE YOUR INTENTIONS ARE, YOU WILL NOT MAKE HEADWAY, BECAUSE THE ODDS OF THE MAJORITY IS CLEARLY AND STRONGLY STACKED AGAINST YOU. IF YOU CONTINUE TO FORCE ISSUES AND THE NPP LOSES THE ELECTION, YOUR NAME WILL BE FOREVER ATTACHED TO THE DEFEAT AND REFERRED, AS THE ONE WHO CAUSED THE DEFEAT AND THAT COMES WITH THE DEATH OF YOUR OWN POLITICAL AMBITIONS. SO TAKE THE WISE COUNSEL AND RESIGN AND LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY.

Any office holder who feels he is more powerful than Akufo Addo should leave the party…” demands Mr Apenteng Appiah Menka, one of the elders of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The NPP elder was speaking to some internal wrangling in the party and the fact that those issues are always being discussed in the media.
The NPP is yet to put closure on various issues causing tension in the party. The recent one is a disclosure from the party’s General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong that he and the party’s Chairman Paul Afoko, were not informed of various activities of Nana Akufo Addo, flagbearer of the party including his “Arise and Build” Tour.
Nana Addo subsequently, intervened and asked that party issues should not be discussed in the media.
Speaking to these issues in an interview on Tuesday’s edition of ‘Kokrokoo’ on PEACE FM, Appiah Menka asked “any office holder who feels he is more powerful than Akufo Addo” to leave the party.
“…we should listen to the elders of the party and know that we don’t wash our dirty linen in public. There are issues in every party but if you respect yourself, you don’t put out your issues in the media. Those who think they have the powers should know that there is a limit to their powers. Nana Addo has spoken and so it will be a joke if anyone does not agree with him…it is sad that party matters are being discussed on radio. We should respect the party and then the flagbearer, Nana Akufo Addo…” he said.
Appiah Menka also added that “those who really don’t know the history of the party tend to make mistakes…I am happy these issues are happening now and not in 2016. Hopefully by the time we get to 2016 they would have been resolved. Per the constitution, after a flagbearer is elected, the party is under his control whether you are a chairman or General Secretary”
