Even though the fake semi-Educated illiterate, francis kwarteng occupied himself as usual with his "cut and paste" camouflage and blindfolding method to write this Piece it does not make a sense. Most especially, the heading of the essay is matchless and stupidly irrelevant, not to lament on the whole lenght of his crap.

My only questions to Kwarteng:
Concerning your opening sentence, the fact is that Nigerians have been ahead of Ghanaians on those metrics since time immemorial. It is not a recent phenomenon. If anything, we rather seem to be left more ever behind by our big neighbours we like to measure our achievements against. And therein lies the reason: the Nigerians have a larger pool of talent to tap from as a result of their numbers than do Ghanaians. We are always going to play second fiddle to them not only in the field of education but in many other areas of human endeavor. We cannot even now say we play better football than them.
But the point is that, there's really nothing wrong if they are ahead of us as long as we're also doing what we're doing well and going the right path. I understand your article as saying we're not doing that.
The solutions are a different matter. But I don't quite understand why you label the series as suggesting things the voter should look out for as he is making a decision as to who to vote for. This was your stated aim at the beginning of the first part. And I wondered then how this will come down to the ordinary voter in the village, semi-literate or stark illiterate, wanting a guidance as who to vote for.
The other concerns touch the nitty gritty of the entertainment industry in Ghana and you seem to know a lot more of the contemporary nature of the industry than I can profess any knowledge of. Indeed, I find it difficult to listen to modern Ghana music and my knowledge is limited to the ones I find it impossible to shut my ears (and eyes) from...

Dear Foster D,
Thanks for your reservations. I have been asking myself the same questions since I embarked upon this particular series. Perhaps the best response I can give you is this:
We need to do this by word of mouth. I strongly believe that if you found anything useful in this article you will share it with friends and family members, those in Ghana and abroad.
On my part, I send friends who don't have time for Ghanaweb and other Ghanaian online portals copies of my essays. They in turn share them with friends and family members, both in Ghana and abroad, when they have the luxury of time on their side.
Last but not least, I am counting on those in Ghana who read this series to share the contents with their folks in our rural settlements (and other parts of Ghana).
Finally, I also understand that access to internet is not a luxury for most people in Ghana, some reasons for this being power outage and cost of internet services.
I, however, agree with your concern about reaching those in rural settlements. This is beyond my reach. Let's continue with the word-of-mouth approach.
Little drops of water, they say, make a mighty ocean.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY NEXT INSTALLMENT. It should be published today.
Abra Kuma,
My regards.
Thanks for reading.
Take care, you both!
Thanks.
