Anyway, Archbishop Charles Palmer-Buckle's main gripe is not all about you and your son! In any case, humans are individuals with a wide array of perspectives, needs, goals, ideological and political interests. And by the way, in the United States, the Democratic party, Republican and Independent parties do things differently! They have their very distinct ideologies, values and core beliefs!
Archbishop Charles Palmer-Buckle's main gripe is the tendency of many Ghanaians to label anyone who dares to express his/her opinion on national policy issues and critics of government policies as either belonging to the NDC or NPP. Partisan politics in Ghana has certainly become problematic. It's well and truly polarised. It has created the problem where our Ghanaian politics and national issues have actively and unwisely been turned into NDC-versus-NPP camps.
Yes, in a democratic culture and multi-party politics, there are those who loudly declare their party allegiances and membership. However, it is one thing being a member/sympathiser of a political party; it is quite another being unreasonably tagged/labelled a sympathiser of another political party for daring to critique the ruling government or the main opposition party.
There are respected intelligent and competent Ghanaians and highly skilled professionals both at home and abroad, who aren't party politicians or heavily influenced by partisanship. Clearly, such Ghanaians, in our national interests could have worked with the government of the day to address major issues affecting the country but for Ghana's petty partisanship which comes with a vengeance and polarisation in Ghana's politics. Archbishop Charles Palmer-Buckle's message is for Ghanaians to put party labels aside and put the issues and what's best for Ghana first/national well-being in our national discussions. Archbishop's message is for Ghanaians to do politics and conduct themselves in a decent and civilised fashion. The tendency to label anyone for his/her opinion as anti/pro-NDC/NPP is unreasonable. The often unscrupulous and vicious personal attacks aimed at critics of government policies, those who dare speak out against government corruption, challenge government ministers and raise issues with opposition parties must stop.

Stop telling your serial lies. Those folks at the New York State Board o Elections could care less what party a person registers with; they're there to see to it that anyone wishing to be registered gets registered. I'll not, however, be surprised to learn that after speaking you, those two staff members began to wonder why you never asked to register with the Lunatics Party.
"The very practice of tagging or labeling is ineluctably human".

Thus, tagging Okoampa-Ahoofe as a hate monger and a clone of Hitler is very appropriate.
