However having not visited Ghana in almost 20 years I am shocked to see that such barbaric backward savage behavior still persists. I had just discussed with my younger brother to begin a big investment in Ghana. Unfortunately I see that one can just be killed at the mere suspicion of been at the wrong place at the wrong time. That is insane. I refused to contribute to the OAA fundraising to refurbish motown my alma mater because our so called leaders will rather steal, loot and share than put our resources to the benefit of all. The manic act of these backwards village folk is a symptom of our society at large. We pretend to be Christians and cannot wait to outdo each other at church, yet we have no empathy for another human whom we no not. I will forever be glad not to have anything to do with this backward people and their callous barbaric way of thinking.

Yes where were all these sudden voices when the so-called criminals and "thieves" were being lynched in Ghana in the cities of Kumasi, Accra, Tema and Koforidua? The only official warning I ever heard from the police after the fact was "Nobody should take the law in their hands'. And that would be the end of the case. This is a lawless country where the authorities stand by when thugs like "land guards" employed by chiefs go on rampage to kill, and no one says anything. Yes, they all cheered whenever a so-called "julor" was being murdered. And YES, you say it rightly, they were setting it up for the murder of Captain Mahama. It is too sad, but I hope Captain Mahama's sacrifice as a soldier in his own mother land will help change Ghana's attititudes.
