The youth wing of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), in Ketu North Constituency will on Wednesday, the 1st of May, 2024, according to the Youth Organizer of the party stage the "biggest Victory" walk for the party’s Parliamentary and presidential candidate in Dzodze, the centre of the Municipality ahead of the December 7th,2024 elections.
The "Dzidudu" health walk train which will kick-start at the old party office in Dzodze Dzeshime is expected to go through the principal streets of the Municipality as it will have in attendance the top echelon of the party at the National, Regional, and the Constituency, including former Minister of State and former Minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu, former Deputy Minister of Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for the Ketu North Constituency, Dr. James Klutse Avedzi, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Kwame Governs Agbodza, Minority Chief Whip, The National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi Esq;
Dr. Donald Agumenu, Commander George Opare Addo (Pablo), Gabriel Kwamigah-Atokple (Tanko), Madam Obuobia Danko, Deputy Director of Communication, Sharaf Mahama, son of the flagbearer of the NDC, Mawutor Agbavitor, Volta Regional Chairman of the NDC, James Gunu, the Volta Regional Secretary of the NDC, Lawyer Osman Ayariga, Mathias Alagbo;
Volta Regional Youth Organizer, Siki Abibu, the Volta Regional Organizer of the NDC, Mr. Emmanuel Okai Minta, Benjamin K. Quashiegah, Prosper Ledi (Proko), Japhet Festus Gbede, Assemblymember for Wuxor, Have and Sremanu Electoral Area, and some other firebrand dignitaries of the party.
Speaking to the media, Daniel Hamenu, the constituency Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress indicated that the walk is intended to bring all arsenals within the length and breadth of the party on board to secure a massive victory for the party's presidential and the youngest parliamentary candidate in the December 7th 2024 polls.
He also indicated that former president Mahama can fix the socio-economic and political challenges besetting the progress of the nation and his office would leave no stone unturned campaigning for him and his Parliamentary candidate for them to reset the country to its normalcy.
Chica as popularly known in the constituency and beyond also explained that former president John Dramani Mahama knows what to do to fix economic challenges in the country, saying Edem Agbana's presence would give the youth some level and sense of belonging in the National Democratic Congress.
Hamenu describing Edem Agbana, the party's youngest parliamentary candidate, as a workaholic and results-oriented candidate, urged people from all walks of life to support their bid to send the NPP back to where they belong.
He believes that with Mahama's leadership and Agbana's dedication, the NDC can reset the country to its normalcy and restructure it for its economic glory.
