MTN Pulse 'Just Be Series': Hundreds of young entrepreneurs empowered

MTN Ghana Pulse in partnership with Ahaspora Professionals Network hosted over 300 young entrepreneurs at the sixth edition of ‘MTN Pulse Just Be Series’.

The 4-hour free entrepreneurship masterclass which was targeted at up-and-coming and early-stage entrepreneurs took place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at The Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, Ridge

The event themed “THE FUTURE OF E-COMMERCE: TRENDS AND OPPORTUNITIES” targeted young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 – 30 years, to discuss the need for young entrepreneurs to be uniquely positioned to leverage e-commerce trends and opportunities, in the globalized market that allows for business expansion.

The sixth “Just Be Series” featured young thriving entrepreneurs including Patty The Strategist (Marketing and Sales Strategist), Jannice Tagoe (Brand and Digital Strategy Coach), and John Asogonnde (Founder, Eden Bar) . The event was moderated Citi TV/FM’s Caleb Kudah.

Senior programs Cordinator at Ahaspora, Felicia Eduafowa Arthur in her address indicated that every nation is built on the shoulders of the young people in the country and if you don’t empower the youth in the country you end up having a good foundation.

According to her, Ahaspora’s core goal is to provide necessary tools for young people to be empowered and have everything they need to move the country forward.

Sharing varying thoughts on how young entrepreneurs can be uniquely positioned to leverage e-commerce trends and opportunities panelists Patty The Strategist (Marketing and Sales Strategist), Jannice Tagoe (Brand and Digital Strategy Coach), and John Asogonnde (Founder, Eden Bar) shared real life experiences on how they turned their passion into business and the successes chalked so far.

Participants were grouped into “up and coming” and “early stage” entrepreneurs to have hands-on workshops with professionals in the areas of capital acquisition, design-thinking, branding and marketing strategies to grow their businesses.

The MTN Pulse ‘Just Be’ series is an empowerment program targeted at the youth and it is part of the MTN Ghana’s initiative to empower and groom the youth to be business-oriented.
