UPSA Global Alumni Association renews insurance contract with Defyn Insurance

The UPSA Global Alumni Association has renewed its insurance contract with Defyn Insurance, an insurance advisory company based in Accra.

The renewal of the insurance agreement took place at a brief ceremony on Tuesday, March 5.

The insurance coverage will provide members with lump-sum financial support in times of personal loss and difficulty.

President of the UPSA Alumni Association, Mr Francis Dadzie, expressed the association’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the interests of its members.

He commended Defyn Insurance for its exceptional services and customer support.

“Through their advisory services, Defyn has played a vital role in guiding alumni through the complex maze of insurance options, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their financial well-being,” Mr Dadzie said.

“One of the key areas where Defyn has excelled and impressed us most is in their prompt and efficient claim settlement process,” he added.

The Managing Director of Defyn Insurance, Ms Doreen Denu expressed her delight at the renewal of the policy.

She added that by offering a diverse array of tailored insurance products, Defyn has successfully catered to the unique requirements of the association’s members.
The partnership between the Alumni Association and Defyn over the past three years has resulted in an extensive range of insurance solutions specifically designed for members of the Alumni Association.

These offerings include comprehensive health insurance packages, personal accident insurance, personal and dependent bereavement insurance, among others.
Under the agreement, Defyn Insurance has so far paid about 300,000 Ghana cedis in claims to 27 beneficiaries.
