Eastern Youth Forum

PRESS STATEMENT

The Eastern Youth Forum (EYF), a non partisan youth pressure group in the eastern region Ghana, who are committed to participate meaningfully, purposefully and actively in the affairs of the eastern region, Ghana and the world at large to promote unflinching solidarity and fraternity amongst the youth of the eastern region with a sense of patriotism to spearhead the region’s developmental agenda: by this press statement is wishing all WASSCE and BECE candidates in the Eastern Region and Ghana at large the best of wishes in the just started exams

The EYF strongly believes that examination is a necessity for promotion in life and it has become part of the society now. It gives everybody the opportunity to climb the ladder of success in life. It is therefore pertinent to attach much importance to it since it plays a very important role in the developmental aspects of individuals and the society. EYF therefore wishes all the candidates the best of results and asks for God’s blessings upon their lives.

Again, it is the fervent hope of the EYF that all the candidates will go by the rules and regulations regarding the conduct of the examination. We caution the candidates against any indiscipline action since discipline is a required attitude to attaining academic excellence. In attaining academic excellence, candidates need to develop self-confidence, courage, constancy and boldness. EYF beliefs that inspite of the preparation of the students, the mentioned traits above are very important for any excellence.

Last but not the least, many of these candidates after the exams behave in ways that are unacceptable in the society and this is where the EYF is calling on all the agents of socialization in to be on their toes and see to it that these Senior High and Junior High School leavers put up disciplined and more acceptable behaviours in the society.
