2009 ASOGLI YAM FESTIVAL
PRESS RELEASE- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The President of the Volta Region House of Chiefs and Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State Togbe Afede X1V wishes to invite all Ghanaians to join with the Asogli people in celebrating the 2009 Yam Festival. This year’s festival has activities for all age groups and is being celebrated under the theme uniting For Development. It is the time of year when the people of Asogli and the Volta Region give thanks and praise to God for turning this small seed into a big tuber of Yam which helps to feed everyone.
The highlights of the celebration will be the grand durbar and launch of the Tourist and Business Guide at the Jubilee Park, Ho. The Programme is attached.
