mPawa takes to the stage at DEMO Africa

Today mPawa, a mobile job matching application developed for the blue-collar recruitment sector of Africa, will pitch live on stage at DEMO Africa.

DEMO Africa conference brings the ecosystem together: government officials, policy makers, academia, venture capitalists, angel Investors, investment fund managers, corporations, development organisations, tech buyers, entrepreneurs, innovation supporters & global media to witness 40 start-ups from all over Africa launch their most innovative products. DEMO Africa is taking place in Nairobi, Kenya.

mPawa, founded in Ghana in August 2012, seeks to be the link between employers and blue collar workers. With an mPawa account, companies can post vacancies and workers are matched to the job post using mPawa's matching algorithm. On the worker side, mPawa gives job seekers the chance to register and start receiving relevant jobs via SMS.

Currently mPawa have 12 companies signed up on the recruiter side.
