Data Link University College launches Pre-University Centre in Ho

Ho, Feb. 20, GNA-Data Link University College at the weekend launched a Pre-University Centre in Ho, the Volta Regional capital. This adds to three the number of the College's Pre-University Centre= s in the country with the other two centres in Accra and Takoradi respectively.

The Ho Centre, which will make its first intake next month, will start with pre-degree programmes in Business Administration and Information Technology leading to the award of Scholarships for degree programmes in Computer Science, Information Systems and Business Administration at the Data Link University College in Tema.

Mr Ernest Ansah, Founder of the College, speaking at the launch said the increasing number of qualified applicants necessitated the need to establish centres in the regions. He said for the past five years, the College had distinguished itself as an internationally recognized centre of excellence for teaching, learning, researching as well as community involvement and leadership and urged students in Ho and the region to take advantage of the Institution. "Data Link is simply the best with scholarship packages, small class sizes, moderate fees and flexible terms of fee payment for all", Mr Ansah said.

He said the College was duly accredited by the National Accreditation Board and affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and assured prospective students of quality tuition. Some students of the University College went on brass band procession through the Ho Township to create awareness after the brief launch.
