Rector appeals to students to stay away from confrontation

Ejisu (Ash), Oct 11, GNA - The Spiritan University College at Ejisu has held a matriculation ceremony to welcome fresh students with a call on them to always use dialogue to address their grievances. The Rector, Reverend Father Ato Jackson, said choosing the path of confrontation would not be in their interest and that of the authorities.

He said the College would not hesitate to withdraw the admission of students who refuse to abide by its rules and regulations.

Rev Fr Jackson said students should be modest, sincere, honest, and self-disciplined and these must form the moral foundation on which to build their academic careers.

The College, one of the many run by the Catholic Church, admitted 43 new students to pursue various academic programmes. Rev Father Jackson said the college had received accreditation to start a business school and that they were looking at options in marketing, accounting, banking and finance, human resource management, entrepreneurship and small scale management.
