Numo Blafo congratulates President Mahama

Numo Blafo Akotia Omaetu III, Sword and Touch bearer of the Ga State in the Odododiodoo Constituency, has congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama for winning this year’s general election to continue the Better Ghana Agenda.

He expressed gratitude to the people of Odododiodoo for comporting themselves during and after the elections as well as respecting the laws of the land. Numo Blafo, also the Public Relation Officer of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on Monday, said Odododiodoo was perceived as a lawless area but the people had proved that they were not violent and committed to development.

He said the Ga State Wulomei also contributed through prayers to avert any problem and ensure a successful election.

Numo Blafo congratulated the media, the security agencies and the Electoral Commission for their excellent services that brought peace and serenity throughout the elections.

He reaffirmed his support to Nii Lamptey Vanderpuye, Member of Parliament elect for the Odododiodoo Constituency, for working hard to win the seat.

Numo Blafo said; “Due to the cosmopolitan nature of the area no party can claim that it is its stronghold. This clearly shows the level of our maturity in politics to accommodate all tribes,” he said.

“Though Dr Kwame Nkrumah, who is an Nzema, won in Accra Central in 1951, now Odododiodoo, shows that the area represents the interest of the whole country,” he said.
