Singing hymns during morning assemblies should be encouraged in all schools; from the primary level to the universities.
Anytime you are heavy in spirit or there is burden that you are struggling, make the effort to open up your spirit to the Lord, and the Holy Spirit will minister a Song to you; it could be a Hymn, Gospel etc.
Prayerful sing the songs that the Spirit of God ministers to you and you would be very much blessed!
Singing hymns is very Biblical, for God dwells in the praises of his people. And that is why anytime you sing hymn you become light, it is like your burdens are rolled away.
Hymns are very important and are integral part of worship.
Each time you sing a hymn, take time to look at the words, and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you, through the words of the song/hymn.
