I would like to say thank you to the pastor for the clear declaration of the Word of God. Too many FAKE pastors in Ghana nowadays and I am surprised with the lack of fear of God in their actions.

Since the Baptist Church to which this pastor belongs preaches and teaches and collects "tithes" from christians, I think, he should clean the speck in his own eyes first.

The News is quite simply this, There there are Pastor's in Ghana who are thankfully standing up against these so-called "Pastors" and "Prophets". He is called to preach against those who wish to pervert the Gospel. In this case those, fake pastors and prophets.Those who are preaching lies that God will do whatever you ask of him. Those who preach about material wealth and gain in this life. Those who preach that God wishes for you to your "Best life now". A pastor is to care for the flock of God. In Acts 20:28, Paul speaking the Pastors in Ephesus, He tells them to Pay careful attention themselves and their flock... This Pastor is doing just that. In Titus 2 Paul is writing to a young pastor in Crete and He encourages him to preach what is in accords with sound doctrine. Read the whole chapter and you'll figure what he means by it. I hope this comment helped clarify some things.

Was tithing part of the Apostle's doctrine? Iknow it is in The Bible; but was it meant for Christians?

Sound doctrine is healthy teaching that produces living with correspondence to the Gospel. To my knowledge I don't know if any of the Apostles took Tithe from the churches. The bible seems to be silent about it. We do know about the situation found in 2 Cor. 8-9 where Paul asks for a contribution of relief for the brethern of the Jerusalem suffering because of the famine. Good job! The false prophets must be exposed. They are using God's holy name to amass wealth. They are twisting God's word for their own advantage.
