Alfred Duncan leaves future to Inter Milan

On-loan Sampdoria midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan has left his long-term future to Inter Milan.

The 21-year-old was replaced after 72 minutes for the Blue-Circled as they lost 1-0 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Mauro Icardi’s late penalty earned the Nerazzurri the precious win as they further eased the pressure on coach Walter Mazzarri.

The future of the former Ghana youth star has been hugely speculated in the Italian media but he has left his future to his parent club.

“I’m glad that Inter always watching me, but now I want to aim high with this team. Inter will decide my future,” he said

“I was not expecting this defeat, but in the end we were punished by a penalty. Like I said I cannot decide for myself.”
