Ayew: I hope Grant adapts early in Ghana

Ghana international Andre Ayew hopes newly appointed Black Stars coach Avram Grant gets accustomed to the African terrain and the players.

Ayew believes it is early days yet to state whether the Israeli can win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations for Ghana after 32 years.

“I do not know if he can win the cup for us or not, we'll see. We know he has coached big teams, he has lots of experience. I hope he will quickly adapt to life in Africa and African football, which is completely different from European football,” Ayew told ATS.

“But I think the Federation has made a good choice with this coach. It will be left with us to enforce his rules.”

Ghana have been drawn in a difficult group made up of Algeria, Senegal and South Africa in next month's Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea.
