Ashford in pole position to land GFA scribe role

Footy-ghana.com can exclusively reveal that the former Administrative Manager for former Premier League champions Hearts of Oak, Ashford Tetteh Oku is favorite to land the position of General Secretary at the Ghana Football Association.

According to our well-placed sources, Tetteh Oku, who is the Vice Chairman of the Premier League Board, has impressed the GFA top hierarchy with his work of almost three decades with Hearts of Oak.

Tetteh Oku resigned from his Hearts of Oak role some weeks ago and footy-ghana.com sources reveal that his prospects at landing the GFA top role was a factor in his deciding to quit the Phobians.

The GFA is expected to confirm the appointment in the not-too-distant future. Emmanuel Gyimah has been the acting GFA General Secretary since Kofi Nsiah retired over two years ago.
