Bekoe suffers broken leg

Striker Eric Bekoe has suffered a major setback in his bid to revive his football career.

The former Asante Kotoko striker broke his leg during a football game at the Kotobabi SWAG Park in Accra last week, according to reports.

The former Ghana goal king bemoaned his fate, noting that it had prevented him from travelling to Finland to pursue his career.

Bekoe who played for Berekum Chelsea last season said he had secured a deal in Finland and was billed to make the trip soon when the unfortunate incident happened.

According to him, he decided to play with his friends at Kotobabi to keep his form but ended up breaking his leg.

DAILY GUIDE SPORTS gathered that Bekoe had been admitted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi for surgery to repair the broken leg.
