Benevolence to football clubs has often come in the form of donations from agencies, organizations and individuals; some of which are persons who have had ties with these clubs.
The latest example of the latter is the kind gesture of the Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang Badu. The 29 year old midfielder who currently plays for Italian Serie A side, Hellas Verona has secured 2 sets of jerseys for his former club Berekum Arsenal.
This came to the full glare of the public after the manager of the player made the presentation on his behalf to the Division One league outfit.
Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu engaged Scottish sportswear Pokoo to design two sets of jerseys for former club Berekum Arsenals.
After they were done, Badu made his manager do the presentation on his behalf to the club. Clearly touched and appreciative of the gesture, Berekum Arsenal took to twitter to share the news.
Earlier today, we received 2 set of jerseys designed by @Pokoo15. Our former player @Badu_Agyemang was the brain behind this kind gesture. His manager did the presentation on his behalf. Management of #BAFC would like to use this opportunity and thank @Badu_Agyemang for this. pic.twitter.com/UQtW1QgUDb
