German U16 Iddrisu considers Ghana switch

German U16 striker Razak Iddrisu has stated that the Black Starlets of Ghana is an option for him if they qualify for this year’s U17 World Cup in UAE.

The Wolfsburg star who is the kingpin of the German national U16 team told Goal.com Ghana: “The most important thing is that I will get the invite. I will sit down with my parents and we will talk whether to start playing for Ghana at junior level or wait.”

Iddrisu added: “Though I am now playing for the German Under-16, I was born in Ghana and I am a Ghanaian.”

Iddrisu is the son of former Black Starlets striker Abu Iddrisu who scored the winning goal for Ghana to annex the 1995 world U17 cup in Ecuador.
