Ghana coach meets Dauda and Rashid Sumaila

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah met goalkeeper Fatau Dauda and Rashid Sumaila as he rounds up his monitoring of player ahead of the naming of his World Cup squad on 13 May.

Appiah was in the VIP section of the Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg as he watched centre-back Sumaila impress for Sundowns against Moroka Swallows.

Appiah then held short meeting with Orlando Pirates keeper Dauda and Sumaila before the later emplaned to Bloemfontein where Pirates were set to play this weekend.

From all indications, the two players could make the provisional in the 30-man squad that will be announced next month.

Appiah is expected back in Ghana on Wednesday to finalize his selected players for the tournament in Brazil.

Ghana will play the Netherlands, 2010 World Cup losing finalists, in Rotterdam on 31 May in a pre-tournament friendly.
