Helegbe not keen on move abroad

Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Helegbe says he is not in a rush to seek a move abroad.

The 27-year-old joined the defending Premier League champions from Liberty Professionals.

Helegbe returned home to re-launch his career after an unsuccessful stint abroad and the former Ghana Under-23 captain says he’s not a hurry to return to Europe.

“Sometimes when you go to a club in Europe, it’s no that you’re not good. May be your position is not available or they don’t play to your style,” Helegbe said

“So you will get little or no time. Sometimes even the food or other personal issues.

“For me I’m glad I made the decision to return home and I’ve not regretted it.

“First at Liberty and now Kotoko. I’m enjoying my game, if any move comes for me to go back to Europe, I will consider it.”
