Oduro Sarfo dares Gambo over bribery claim

Oduro Sarfo of Berekum Chelsea is challenging Amidaus Professionals owner, Ahmed Baba Gambo to urgently provide evidence over his allegation that Chelsea Chairman, Emmanuel Kyeremeh tried to bribe some Amidaus players before their Match Day 17 tie in Tema last Sunday. Alhaji Gambo claimed on Adom FM that the Chelsea bankroller called some of his players via phone offering inducements to throw away the Glo Ghana Premier league fixture the Berekum side will go on to win 1-0.

But a furious Oduro Sarfo, now also the West Africa consultant of DR Congo giants, T P Mazembe is demanding Alhaji Gambo to substantiate his claims because Chelsea have not done any such deed. “He who alleges should prove so he must come out to prove his allegations,” Oduro Sarfo told Joy FM. He continued: “The players who say they were called (by Kyeremeh) must also come out to tell us where, when and what Mr. Kyeremeh told them.

“We have players on loan in his team and even when his players were travelling to Italy with the national U-20 team, the players came to my boss (Kyeremeh) for per diem.”
