Peace FM Sports Editor and owner/editor of the Ghana Sports newspaper, Dan Kweku Yeboah takes his turn on Sports Check.

The ace sports journalist who has been an avid critic of the Kwesi Nyantakyi-led administration in this interview with GhanaWeb sports editor Daniel Oduro opens up on how he fell out with the GFA boss and also assesses the performance of Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The ‘freedom fighter’ as he is usually referred to, called for a total overhaul at the GFA which includes the sacking of all permanent staff at the FA.

Dan Kweku Yeboah also expresses his view on the latest expose’ by ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas which he believes will bring an end to Kwesi Nyantakyi’s reign as the President of the Ghana Football Association and usher Ghana football into a new dawn of success.

He also touches on the Black Stars and proposed some of the steps that must be taken for the team to win back the love of Ghanaians. Dan recommended that bonuses for Black Stars players should be non-negotiable. He also explained why winning the 2019 AFCON will be a herculean task for Coach Kwesi Appiah.

In the wake of the Australia Visa scandal, Kweku Yeboah’s name came up as one of the journalists who allegedly registered their family members as journalists and secured them Australia visas, he debunked those claims, describing them as attempts by friends of the GFA President to discredit him and get back at him for constantly criticizing their boss. He also hinted of a possible lawsuit against Chairman of the Black Stars B Management Committee, Edmund Ackah over some comments the latter made on Asempa FM.

Kwaku Yeboah also mentioned that the current Sports Minister, Isaac Asiamah has earned his love and respect with his infrastructure policy. Kwaku Yeboah reckons the youth centres which are being built in all ten regions of the country will help develop football and sports in general.
