Sumaila: Our target is to annex the PSL title

Ghana’s Rashid Sumaila has said his main aim is to help Mamelodi Sundowns to annex the PSL title from big guns Kaiser Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

“The team have been in consistent form in terms of winning matches, so our target is to win the PSL title this season because our trump card this season has been hardworking, determination and a great support we have been getting from our lovely fans,” the former Asante Kotoko player told Goal Ghana.

“But my future with Mamelodi Sundowns is uncertain because I am waiting for the season to end before taking a final decision,” the winner of the 2010-11 Ghana Premier League Best Defender noted.

The Brazilians sit at the first position with 55 points and after beating Bloemfontein Celtic at home by 1-0, Sundowns have now leapfrog Kaiser Chiefs at the first position after their 1-0 loss to Black Aces at home.
