Tema ready for denkyem “resurrection cup ”soccer tournament

All roads will lead to community two, “Sakasaka park” Tema on Tuesday 22nd April 2014,where the annual Denkyem easter games dubbed “ RESURRECTION CUP” will come off to celebrate Christ’s resurrection.
The tournament will feature “Denkyem” teams from community five, community two, and Tema Newtown in the under 12 and 14 categories who will vie for a trophy at stake.
Prizes like soccer boots as well as snacks will be made available for the children who will partake in the tournament.
It is being organized by the Denkyem Charitable Foundation Inc., Whose vision is to bring hope to Ghanaian kids, in the area of sports like soccer, athletics, netball, boxing etc.
The organization has been assisting the children in the Tema municipality, and has over 600 registered kids, as well as supporting both government and private schools in the supply of sports kits, shoes, clothing, food etc.
Denkyem Charitable Foundation International is supported by Managerial Government Resources (MGR),OZE sports Taverns all based in the United States of America, Basta Sports, King Global Ventures, Builders of Today (BOTA), also a nongovernmental organization,Flamboyant Damsel ltd (Tema), Aqua Fortis mineral water (Tema).
The tournament begins at 8.o clock, and will be in a knock out format, with penalties deciding any tie.The “sakasaka park” is the place where one has to be on Tuesday to see the kids in action.
