Yahaya Mohammed eyes Amidaus glory

Leading marksman in the Glo Ghana Premier League, Yahaya Mohammed has reiterated his focus and targets at Tema based Amidaus Professionals, insisting he is eyeing no personal glory as the 2012/13 Ghana season enters the business end.

Yahaya returned with a bang over the weekend, hitting the target again to stretch his leading tally in the Glo Ghana Premier League goal king race to 11.

But the playmaker insists it’s the 3-1 victory and resultant three points Amidaus amassed that fills him with joy and satisfaction than any personal aggrandizement.

“This game that I’m playing, I’m not targeting any goal king or to score in every game. My focus is to improve match after match, that’s what I have been working very hard on,” Yahaya Mohammed said excitedly. He continued: “And anybody who has been watching my game will notice that I have been improving with every game. Even when I don’t score, the performance is always better than the last game.”

The player on loan from Asante Kotoko, added: “I’m not targeting anything with Amidaus that they can win the league or end the season in Top 4.

“The target I came to Amidaus for is to help them retain their Premiership status this season so that next season they will be settled enough to target finishing in the Top 4.”
