New Edubiase chalk second home win

Obuasi, Nov. 1, GNA - New Edubiase United recorded their second home win when they beat Kumasi King Faisal 1-0 in their Premier League encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday. It was the new entrants who right from the kick-off mounted pressure on Faisal but their attackers failed to utilise the chances that came their way.

Faisal however came into the picture but found the defence of Edubiase unyielding to end the first half goalless.

Back from the recess, Edubiase redoubled their efforts and managed to find the net in the 57th minute through Nuhu Fuseini who intercepted a pass in the vital area of their opponents before lobbing the ball over advancing keeper Osei Boateng.

Faisal tried on many occasions to level up the scores but poor shooting upfront denied them of the needed equalizer till the final whistle.
