Waris courted by an avalanche of clubs

Footy-Ghana.com has gathered that, a host of clubs are after the tail of Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Warris.

Warris capped an impressive half-season loan stint at French club Valenciennes with a call-up to the recent World Cup. Warris featured just once against Portugal due to injury.

The ten-plus clubs interested in Warris are Ligue 1 contestants Lens and Lille, who are reportedly long-term admirers of the young forward. They have kept in touch with the player's representatives since the opening of this transfer window, whiles Bordeaux and St Etienne are also monitoring affairs keenly.

Malaga and Granada lead the La Liga suitors-unit, with the German contingent dressed in Hertha Berlin, Werder Bremen, Hannover and Hamburg according to French website GFNF.

Get French Football News also claims that, Spartak Moscow [his parent club] have set an asking price of just around €5m for the striker.
