Eiiieee, Africans are really dumb too, so on the Anniversary that the Ghanaians, precisely the Ashantes lost a great war , where hundreds of their ancestors were butchered with bayonets blade with blood spilling down in Kumasi, and people wailing in Kumasi after Kumasi was burnt down totally and the Kings Palace also burnt down, this same Ashantes are celebrating it as an event? Have you seen the British celebrating the anniversary of their defeat to the Japanese before? Have you seen the Americans celebrating their defeat to Vietnam before, like you will hear American Anniversary over the Vietnam War?? The white foreigners are celebrating their victory over the black African monkeys on THEIR OWN LAND, AND THE MONKEYS ARE WILLINGLY TAKING PART? SO AFRICA, WHEN WHEN??

And what was the objective of the war. There was war or misunderstanding between the fantis and the Ashanti's over the business of the slaves. The British made the fantis or merchants of cape coast the middlemen while the kumasianos the receivers of the slaves. At one point in time the Ashanti's led by kumasihene felt cheated and decided to do direct business with the British so the fight between the Ashanti's and the British, it was actually fantis Ashanti war limited to cape coast and kumasi. The British felt the kumasi people are breaking protocols and the need to put them in order and decided to burn kumasi, that was really bad. This isn't worth celebrating. Our attitude of breaking protocols to meet directors and president over little issues date back many years and is a contributing factor to our under development.

Asantes actually never went to a real war against against any other Akan like Bono 9r Fanti but surround their village at mid-night when they were unaware, burn their towns and villages at night . Shameful celebration of your defeat to Sir Garnet Worseley the brave.
All beautiful
Well done.
