  Just privatize ECG to save us from dumso, inefficiencies and losses. It was same with Ghana Telecom now Vodafone and now we are safe with efficiency and pricing under fair competition.

  We have 16 regions, why not use the regional Accounts so that the people in the Region could use their Regional Accounts at Ghana commercial Bank.

  We have 16 regions, why not use the regional Accounts so that the people in the Region could use their Regional Accounts at Ghana commercial Bank.
  if any payment goes into the regional Accounts apart from the Ministry of Finance directives nobody must be allowed to withdraw Funds from the regional single Account.
  it is very important to decentralise the operations in such a way that money paid could be traced in the Region.
  The maintainance cost within the Region must get operational Funds from the Region.
  I am an Asanti- I live and pay my ECG Bill in Kumasi, if Kumasi Regional Director has able to mobilise Funds, and there is an equipment damage which need replacement,
  I don't want the manager to tell me that- there is no Funds in the Region to do the repairs .
  If we want Transparency it must START from the Regional base.
  Sigle Accounts at where ? national capital or where ?
  if you bring all ECG accounts to Accra there is no way you could get transparency and trace the payments.
