Airlines will simply engage local Airlines to lift their passengers to Accra for onward journey to their destinations as it happens in other African countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Morocco, Algeria etc. No Airline will ply an Airport just because it's branded as "INTERNATIONAL"

You are quite right. Airline Business is not run like the "trotro" business. Their main business targets are the competitive destinations and how much each route earns them. Otherwise, how would an Airline of Emirates status or Delta, Lufthansa, Ethiopian, British Airline etc. set off from America and or Europe to target Kumasi as a lucrative destination.? just to drop off or pick a few passengers and then headed again on a 10 or 15 minutes flight to Accra which is it's main country destination, to pick the passengers on its return flights. These are Airlines which are already never able to have full capacity passengers and now burden with 10 minutes intra country flights. They will rather engage local Airlines to ferry their booked passengers to their main destination Accra "to & fro" Kumasi, rather than running non lucrative Kumasi route. These facts even exist both in the America and the UK and other major European countries. For example if you live in Liechester you can only connect when you get to London and same applies in the America. People in Kumasi should stop dreaming because the city single economy is too low for such a venture to materialise of successful than soon.

The once passengers to and from that airport increases airlines will definitely fly there directly. Another option is having a local airline based in Kumasi. Once that happens it'll attract other airlines to-do same. Airlines fly to anywhere passengers are found.

I saw a clip about a so called Plantain factory at Agogo North, listed as a functioning and completed project with exports to Canada.BULLSHIT. Sadly, this is not true at all. The factory is just an empty shell with no electricity to that building. SHAMEFUL, Incompetent lying government. Nothing about this breed of NPP is truthful. Very sad indeed. We cannot wait for 2025.

Surprisingly, the current Prez after taking over the mantle decided to do another sod cutting ceremony for the same project. I now understand why. Just to deceive the gullible public. The only thing this govt added to the project was to get additional funding for the further expansion of the newly constructed terminal building to meet a certain standard. This is termed phase 3 of the project. Facts are sacred!
