  Dr Ayirebu Acquah is a man I have always respected. His story about a cheque he destroyed after signing only showed he was a mediocre public officer. On which basis did he sign the cheque?
  Did he take more action against those who may have misled him or he just destroyed the cheque and that was all?
  You see, if Rawlings is talking of men of integrity he should listen to himself. I believe in both integrity and competence but Doc's example is a poor one. It shows the kind of erratic people who ruled Ghana those days and indicates they were not careful, deliberative and cross checking each stage of their decisions, and that they left criminals in their offices off the hook with actions like doc's.

  In 1969 or so Ghana elect president Dr. Busia as democratic country,am confused why Rawlings keep insisting Ghanaians were blind to smell democracy until 1992,Rawlings had manage to throw dust to the young generation eye for we to believed that democracy do not exit before 1981,we have the history at book since 1947 when the best of men stool for their right and fight to take Gold coast to our independence,from there many elected presidents has come and gone which indeed was democratic constitution,true that military abolished the constitution in Ghana but does'nt mean we were not free of democracy,this nonsense should stop marking 31st coup.

  Mr. Rawlings. Very good you have uphold the mantel of Ghana presidency again. Now show Manama the way to go. Tell him more about infastrucral development. Teach him how to utilize the oil money well tell them not to listen to those fools and focus on te development of the nation. Tell them to kick the crazy for gold Chinees, also show them how to deal with the armed robbers( kill them all) drive thos crazy Nigerians out. And keyed the military strong.
  Please do not think crazy about tribal war, for that would tear the strategy apart. Always remmember Ashanti is the strongest, and do not try to leave them behind. For the one God has blessed you can not curse. I also belive if u and mahamah unite, and think about development the party would go far. Forget about tribal difference, for the demography of ghana population is not even. Just think about development for all, think about peace for all, and make good use of the political advantage God has given you now. Long live Ghna, long live the 31st Dec. revolution that opened the way to democracy in Ghana our mother land.
